Wizz Air will open Dortmund base, scheduled flights to Split
Hungarian low budget airline Wizz Air announced opening its 33rd base in the Europe, this time in Dortmund. There will be 18 new routes, including Split in Croatia.
After suspension of Basel - Osijek route, Split is the only airport in Croatia where Wizz Air flies to.
After the establishing the base in Dortmund, Split will be connected with this germany city, the route Dortmund - Split will be introduced.
The Dortmund - Split route will operate from August 1st three times per week, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It is currently possible to purchase a ticket on this route starting from 25 euros.
We received confirmation from the airline that this route will most likely operate on seasonal bease, but the airline did not make a final decision yet.
