Windrose canceled planned Zagreb service, added one more new route to Croatia
Windrose Airlines, before the pandemic situation in the world, announcement new route between Kyiv and Zagreb. The airline canceled this route for this year but resumed flights between Kyiv and Dubrovnik.
The airline planned new service between Kyiv and Zagreb from the start of this summer season (3 times per week, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), after the outbreak of pandemic the route was postponed for winter timetable, and today the airline announced complete cancelation of Zagreb service for this year. There is a chance that Windrose Airlines will resume flights on this route in the summer timetable 2021.
However, the airline announced more flights between Kyiv and Pula, from today, July 23rd, there will be 3 weekly flights on this route (every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), regular flights are scheduled until the middle of September.
Today Windrose Airlines flew to Pula with ATR 72-600 aircraft, the flight time on this route was 3 hours and 40 minutes from Kyiv to Pula!
On this route the airline is using A321 aircraft, so the smaller aircraft was a rare chance to see it in Pula Airport. On the next flights the airline should use A321 aircraft again.
The Kyiv - Split route will continue to operate three times per week (every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) with A321 aircraft.
Even Windrose Airlines canceled Zagreb service for this year, the airline introduced totally new destination in Croatia, for the first time, the airline is flying to Dubrovnik Airport.
The Kyiv - Dubrovnik route is operating from July 17th, once per week (every Friday), and will continue to operate by the end of August (28AUG20). On this route airline is using ERJ145 aircraft which has a capacity of 48 seats.
