Today, on the first day of the new 2021, planes with humanitarian aid for the earthquake-stricken central Croatia landed at Zagreb Airport. These are donations from Bulgaria, Portugal and Poland. Recall, the first international aid arrived from Greece, in the evening of December 30 by special plane from Athens.
This morning, two transport planes of the Bulgarian Armed Forces landed at Zagreb, delivering 500 beds for the victims of the devastating earthquake.
The third plane landed from Portugal (it had a technical stop in Barcelona), the plane delivered more than 3.5 tons of various equipment on 14 pallets.
A large consignment of humanitarian aid arrived today by a special plane from Poland, which also responded to the call for help from the Government of the Republic of Croatia. Poland donated almost 6 tons of valuable equipment to Croatia which was transported by military aircraft - CASA C-295.
