National turkish airline is coming back to Zagreb on Istanbul - Zagreb route, starting from July 1st.
Turkish Airlines during the summer flight schedule usually flies to Zagreb double daily, connecting two cities with many other destinations in the world, allowing to croatian passengers to reach far away destinations, as well as offering croatian destinations to tourists from all around the world (the most of them coming from Asia).
Due to the pandemic situation Turkish grounded whole fleet and now is slowly starting to operate, firstly on domestic, and now on international routes too.
Even the airplanes were flying double daily to Zagreb before the pandemic, the airline will now resume flights on this route with reduced schedule. The Istanbul - Zagreb - Istanbul route will operate 5 times per week from July 1st, every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
Every Wednesday and Sunday the route will operate in the morning with the A320 aircraft, while on Monday, Thursday and Friday aircrafts will fly at the evening with the B737-800 aircraft type.
The A320 aircraft has a capacity of 153 passengers, while B737-800 has a bit larger capacity, it can accommodate up to 162 passengers.
Turkish Airlines also flying year-round on the Istanbul - Dubrovnik route, but this route is currently not operating and there is no schedule date right now for its return in service.
