Croatian private airline, Trade Air, will increase its fleet. In about 10 days, the third Airbus A320 will land at the base of this airline at the Zagreb Airport!
Trade Air is continuously renewing its fleet, which was previously based on F100 aircraft. In 2016., the first A320 (reg. mark 9A-BTG) arrived at the company, while the second one arrived in April 2019. (reg. mark 9A-BTH). In about 10 days, the company will be joined by the third aircraft of this type, which will be marked as a 9A-BTI in the Croatian register.
The aircraft serial number is 2189, manufactured in 2004. for Air Malta, the Maltese national airline where it was operating as 9H-AEI.
The aircraft is equipped with 180 brand new leather seats, and the company plans to paint it in its distinctive livery over a period of two years. Until then, the aircraft will wear Trade Air markings (stickers) on the tail and fuselage. Captain Cvijin confirmed to us that the new aircraft will be called "Luka"
The company is currently finalizing all the documentation necessary to take over the aircraft.
With this new aircraft, Trade Air will have three A320s and one F100 aircraft in its fleet. The airline also leases an L410 aircraft which is based at Osijek Airport, from where domestic PSO flights are operated.
