TAROM to introduce Dubrovnik service

TAROM, national air carrier of Romania, currently plans to operate regular charter flights between Bucharest and Dubrovnik.

The Romanian national airline plans to connect Bucharest and Dubrovnik this summer, reports Boardingpass.ro. This charter route will be in service for the Romanian tour operator Karpaten Turism, which offers holiday packages in Croatia. The Bucharest - Dubrovnik route will operate from June 4th until October 15th 2021. just once per week, every Friday.


Timetable:

RO3731: Bucharest (OTP) 07:50 – 08:30 Dubrovnik (DBV),

RO3732: Dubrovnik (DBV) 09:30 – 12:00 Bucharest (OTP).


Holiday package includes flights, accommodation and transfers from and to Dubrovnik Airport. Tickets are available for booking on the website of tour operator. TAROM does not operate regular flights to Croatia, charter flights were available to Dubrovnik over 10 years ago.


TAROM has 28 aircraft in its fleet (Airbus, Boeing and ATR). On charter route to Croatia the airline will use ATR72-600 aircraft which has a capacity of 72 seats, those aircraft arrived at TAROM fleet just over year ago. On 21 scheduled return flight TAROM will offer over 3000 seats between two cities.

The only direct commercial route between Croatia and Romania was the Bucharest - Zagreb route operated by Croatia Airlines (seasonal service), but it looks like that this route will not operate in the upcoming summer season.
