SAS will not resume flights from many Scandinavian cities to Croatia
We got confirmation from this airline that the company is not planning to resume seasonal flights on its routes from many Scandinavian cities to Croatia in this summer season, due to the pandemic situation and lower demand.
Scandinavian Airlines is flying regularly during the summer season from Scandinavia to Pula, Dubrovnik, and Split. Due to the pandemic situation, the airline will not resume many routes this summer.
As we announced before, SAS is already flying on its routes from Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm to Split Airport, as well as from Stockholm to Pula Airport.
The airline will not resume flights to Dubrovnik in July, and it is almost sure that many regular seasonal and charter flights will not operate as well.
Canceled flights to Split Airport
SAS was flying from 9 destinations to Split Airport in previous years, but this summer season there will be just 3 routes from Scandinavia; from Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen.
Routes from Tromso, Alesund, Trondheim, Bergen, Stavanger, Kristiansand, Aarhus and Gothenburg to Split Airport will not operate this summer season. However, it is possible to come to this beautiful croatian city with 1 transfer in Copenhagen, Oslo or Stockholm.
The routes from Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm to Dubrovnik will, most likely, not operate this year as well.
Pula Airport and SAS
Pula Airport was connected with direct flights to Bergen, Oslo, Stavanger, Gothenburg and Copenhagen in previous years, but nowadays there is just one SAS route, from Pula to Copenhagen.
Zadar - planned new service
Before the outbreak of the pandemic, SAS was planning to start regular flights between Copenhagen and Zadar two times per week, adding one more destination in Croatia in its network, but right now all flight are canceled and there will be no flights between two cities this year.
