SAS and Norwegian will continue operating to Split Airport

Norwegian Air and Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) will continue operating regular flights from Scandinavia to Split Airport in Croatia during September this year.

Even there are new travel restrictions for travelers between Croatia and some scandinavian countries, two airlines will continue with direct flights to Split Airport. The number of weekly flights is reduced in comparison with July and August timetable.


Norwegian Air - 3 routes in September

Norwegian Air will operate direct flights to Split Airport from Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen.

  • the Oslo - Split route will operate two times per week, every Tuesday and Saturday,

  • the Stockholm - Split route will operate once per week, every Saturday,

  • the Copenhagen - Split route will also operate once per week, every Saturday.

Scandinavian Airlines also flies to Split Airport

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) will also continue to operate 3 routes to Split Airport, from Copenhagen, Stockholm and Gothenburg. All routes will operate just once per week, every Saturday:

  • the Stockholm - Split route,

  • the Copenhagen - Split route,

  • the Gothenburg - Split route.

The Gothenburg - Split route is not on sale on the airline website since this is regular charter flight. SAS will use A320neo aircraft on all routes to Split Airport (A320neo has a capacity of 174 passengers).


Croatia Airlines is also flying on Split - Copenhagen route (once per week, every Saturday), while flights between Zagreb and the capital of Denmark are operating daily (however, some departures are canceled, specific dates can be found HERE).
