An S7 Airlines plane on a charter route from Moscow landed at Pula Airport this Sunday (November 1st). This Russian airline normally operates to Pula on a regular route, but it was not in operation this year due to the impact of the pandemic.
A 12-year-old A320 aircraft (reg. VP-BCS) landed at Pula Airport from Moscow (Domodedovo Airport) after 2 hours and 47 minutes flight time.
There were 35 passengers on the first charter flight between Moscow and Pula (the capacity of this type of aircraft in the S7 Airlines fleet is 174 seats). After disembarking the passengers and fueling, the plane went empty back to Moscow.
As confirmed to us from Pula Airport, two more arrivals of the same airline from Moscow are expected this month, on Saturday, November 7th, and Wednesday, November 11th, 2020.
All regular flights from Russia to Croatia did not operate this year, the S7 Airlines charter flight between Moscow and Pula is the first such flight to a Croatian airport since the outbreak of the global pandemic.
