German national airline resumed the Munich - Zagreb service on the beginning of this month with 3 weekly flights (every Monday, Wednesday and Friday) but the airline will soon increase the number of weekly flights on this route.
Lufthansa will, from July 27th, offer more flights on this route. From the mentioned date there will be 5 weekly flights operated by this airline, every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
On the same route Croatia Airlines also operates regular direct flights, once per day, with afternoon departure from Zagreb. From July 21st the airline will add second daily flights every Tuesday and Saturday.
From July 27th the airline should start flying double daily on this route (14 weekly flights), with Lufthansa will be 19 weekly flights on the Munich - Zagreb route.
This will still be less flights than before the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, since the Lufthansa also flies normally double daily to Zagreb during the summer schedule. It is expected that the Lufthansa will increase the number of weekly flights on this route drugint the August.
Lufthansa currently does not offer direct flights on the Frankfurt - Zagreb route, however it is possible to connect to its network via Croatia Airlines flights on this route.
