From January 13th, Polish national carrier will temporarily suspend traffic on Warsaw - Zagreb - Warsaw route.
LOT Polish Airlines launched its regular route between Warsaw and Zagreb this summer, after the end of lockdown, the route continued to operate in winter flight schedule, after October this year.
However, due to the epidemiological situation, reduced demand and the introduction of restrictive measures, company will suspend traffic between the capitals of Poland and Croatia for a period over a month and a half.
The Warsaw - Zagreb - Warsaw route will operate until January 13th, 2021, by that date LOT will perform 8 return flights and offer a total of 1120 seats in both directions. From January 13th to March 1st, 2021, the airline will not operate on this route and in that period there will be no direct flights between the two mentioned cities.
On 8 return flights in January, LOT will operate with E170 aircraft with a capacity of 70 passengers.
Zagreb Airport will be temporarily without another foreign airline from mid-January, just as reminder, many other foreign airlines already suspended flights to Zagreb in winter flight schedule this year, which we reported earlier.
From March 1st, 2021, LOT plans to resume traffic on the route to Zagreb with four flights a week, realization of planned schedule in March will depend on epidemiological situation which directly affects passenger demand.
