KLM to introduce Dubrovnik service

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, the flag carrier airline of the Netherlands, will introduce Amsterdam - Dubrovnik - Amsterdam route in June this year.

KLM will, after almost 32 years, fly directly between Amsterdam and Dubrovnik.

After United Airlines announcement of introducing New York - Dubrovnik route, and yesterday news from Delta Air Lines, which will also fly from New York to Dubrovnik this summer season, KLM is third airline which announced new flights to Dubrovnik Airport for this summer season. After almost 32 years, from June 26th KLM will re-connect Dubrovnik and Amsterdam.

KLM flew to Dubrovnik regularly in the past, but last flight was operated back in 1988. After Croatia independence, this airline did not fly to Dubrovnik on regular passenger flights.

KLM expanded its network and capacity in Croatia. As reminder, this airline introduced second daily flight to Zagreb Airport, and restored service to Split Airport. The route to Split will get more flights as we are coming closer to summer season.

From end of June KLM will fly daily to Dubrovnik

New destination on KLM route map - Dubrovnik, its logical choice. From June 26th the airline will operate daily flights between Amsterdam and Dubrovnik with E190 and B737 aircraft.

Tickets are currently not on sale, but will be available from Monday, May 10th.

Direct flights on this route were available just with EasyJet, while Croatia Airlines operated on this route back in 2010.

Considering all new routes which will be launched in this summer season to Dubrovnik Airport, it is expected that passenger figures will increase, especially in comparison with numbers from 2020. Three world well-known airlines are coming at Dubrovnik Airport this summer season, well done Dubrovnik!
