This Sunday, August 2nd, german well-known low budget airline resumed flights on the Stuttgart - Osijek route.
Eurowings landed in Osijek Airport for the very first time this year at 2:19 PM, just one hour after takeoff from Stuttgart Airport. The airline came in Osijek with A319 aircraft (reg. mark OE-LYU) which has a capacity of 156 seats. OE-LYU is just 7 years old aircraft. On the first arrival flight there were 112 passengers, which give us 72% load factor. Aircraft took off bound for Stuttgart at 3:30 PM with 102 passengers on board.
This is the first (and currently the only) international route from Osijek Airport in this year! Eurowings will continue to operate flights on the Stuttgart - Osijek route until the middle of October (October 18th, 2020.) with just one weekly flight, every Saturday.
Thanks to the Eurowings, passengers from Osijek can transfer in Stuttgart to the following destinations: Hannover, Hamburg, Amsterdam and Vienna with short waiting time (from 40 to 90 minutes, depending on the final destination).
Osijek Airport is currently connected with five airports in Croatia (Zagreb, Pula, Rijeka, Split and Dubrovnik) with direct flights operated by Trade Air and Croatia Airlines.
