Emirates postponed Zagreb service
Updated: Apr 4, 2020
The world's fourth-largest airline by scheduled revenue passenger-kilometers flown, Emirates, in the last 72 hours filed additional changes to its summer 2020 operation which will affect the Zagreb route as well.
Originally planned to start from the first day of summer timetable and to run daily during the whole summer season, Dubai based airline postponed start and reduced flights to the Croatian capital. The reason is, of course, the global situation with coronavirus.
Instead of 29th of March, flights are now scheduled to start from the 01st of May with B777-300ER aircraft. During the whole May flights will operate only 4 times per week, EK will cancel another 3 weekly flights. From June, all flights are available for booking (daily operations).
There is possibility for further changes which is not strange at all since airlines are monitoring situation in the world and waiting for the end of this crisis.
