Croatia Airlines planes active on charter flights across Europe!
In the conditions of drastically reduced demand for air transport services, the national airline Croatia Airlines has taken a very active position in finding a solution to compensate its revenue.
During October and November this year, the company realized or plans to realize about thirty charter flights across Europe, which were mostly leased by Croatian national teams and clubs. Part of this summer season was spent on taking over national teams and sports clubs from Europe (Slovenia, Macedonia, Italy, San Marino, Azerbaijan and others).
Thus, in the passenger cabin of the Airbus 319/320 and Dash 8-Q400 aircraft were members of the Croatian national football team A and the youth (U-21) national team, football clubs Dinamo and Rijeka and Croatian handball first leagues PPD Zagreb and Nexe, as well as football national teams of Macedonia, San Marino and Slovenia (women) and football clubs FC Udinese and SK Rapid Wien. Croatia Airlines planes flew on many interesting routes, such as:
Zagreb - Edinburgh - Pula,
Maribor - Moscow - Tallinn,
Skopje - Tbilisi,
Vienna - Molde,
Rome - Leipzig.
Croatia Airlines planes flew on charter flights to Gothenburg, Athens, Barcelona, Parma, Istanbul and many other destinations.
The "Croatia" logo on Croatia Airlines aircraft was seen in Gothenburg, Athens, Barcelona, Parma, Istanbul, Stockholm, Luxembourg, Larnaca and other cities across Europe during October and the current part of November, charter flights are planned by the end of November to Naples, Moscow and Zaporozhye, if epidemiological conditions allow.
Charter flight Zagreb - Edinburgh - Pula was performed by Croatia Airlines female crew
The organization of charter flights in the current epidemiological situation and with many restrictions of many European countries regarding the passenger flow are very demanding and require additional efforts within the company.
By performing these charter flights in the last two months, Croatia Airlines made, once again, strong contribution to Croatian sport, ie the sustainability of sports events in epidemiologically unfavorable circumstances. Extensive experience and know-how in organizing this type of flights is an advantage of our national airline.
