An China Eastern Airbus A330-200 carrying an aid package of medical equipment from Shanghai, China, landed at Zagreb Intl. Airport on Sunday, 29th of March.
The A330-200 aircraft (reg. B-6543) departed from Shanghai Pudong Intl. Airport at 08:00 local time, carrying almost 13 tons of medical equipment to the Croatian capital. Aircraft landed to Zagreb Intl. Airport at 14:40 local time (flight time 12h 20min) and its parked on the old apron, near the cargo warehouse.
This passenger aircraft is 8 years old and it has 264 seats in total (24C, 240Y). However, there was no passengers but some medical equipment was loaded in passenger cabin and overhead bins. A330-200 aircraft (passenger version) can carry up to 9 pallets in the cargo compartment.
Minister of Health of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Beroš, announced yesterday that there will be more flights with medical equipment ready to depart from China soon.
