Austrian Airlines announced today it will soon restart flight operations across Europe, after almost 90 days of flight suspension.
The resume of international flights is scheduled for June 15th, in the first week of operations Austrian will start flying again between Vienna and Dubrovnik. The airline will resume flights on this route starting from June 21st with 2 weekly flights (Wed and Sun), with the A321 aircraft which has a capacity of 200 passengers.
From June 24th Austrian will resume flights on Vienna - Split route 4 times per week (Tue, Wed, Thu, and Fri) with the same aircraft type like on Dubrovnik route.
In the last press release, the airline announced that first will use aircraft with smaller capacity so it is possible that the aircraft type will be changed on both Split and Dubrovnik routes (to Embraer 195 or DashQ400).
Austrian Airlines is currently developing a flight schedule for July and will provide the relevant information in the near future, we can expect that the Zagreb service will be added soon.
