After the cancelation of all flights of American Airlines on the Philadelphia - Dubrovnik route for this summer season, the airline published the news that this route will not operate anymore in the future.
As a reminder, the Philadelphia - Dubrovnik route was introduced back in summer 2019., the route was operating from the beginning of June until end of September, three times per week (four times per week during the September).
The airline announced, before the outbreak of pandemic, that the route will be operating daily during the summer 2020., but due to the pandemic situation, this route is was canceled for entire summer season. However, flights were schedule to start again in June 2021., with the B787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, which would mean a bigger capacity and better standard of service on this route.
American Airlines published in its last press release that the airline permanently cancels the Dubrovnik - Philadelphia route and will not fly anymore between two cities.
Other routes in the American Airlines network are canceled too:
from Charlotte to Barcelona, Rome, Paris and Munich,
from Chicago to Budapest, Krakow, Prague and Venice,
