The Latvian national carrier has made additional changes to its seasonal routes to Croatia.
The seasonal Riga - Rijeka route, which was operating twice per week in previous summer seasons will operate just once per week this year. Flights are now scheduled from July 29th to September 16th.
Air Baltic also announced the introduction of the Vilnius - Rijeka route, which was originally scheduled to operate twice a week, but now is canceled due to the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Riga - Split route will operate once a week from June 29th, and the second weekly flight will be introduced from July 31st. The original plan of airline was to fly on the Riga - Split route three times a week, but that will not happen this summer season.
The Riga - Dubrovnik route will operate twice a week from July 27th, there has been no reduction in capacity and weekly frequencies on this route, but the service resumption has been postponed until the end of July.
The Vilnius - Dubrovnik route, which was supposed to operate for the first time this year (just like the Vilnius - Rijeka route), has been completely canceled for this summer season. Originally, the service was planned twice per week on this route.
The airline is planning to operate A220 aircraft on all routes in this summer season, including destinations in Croatia. A220 aircraft in AirBaltic fleet has a capacity of 145 passengers.
