Aegean Airlines canceled all flights to Croatia

Aegean Airlines, member of Star Alliance, earlier planned to resume flights to Croatia (Dubrovnik, Split i Zagreb) from September this year. All flights to mentioned destinations in Croatia are canceled for this year.

Aegean Airlines, before the outbreak of pandemic, planned to operate regular flights from Athens (Eleftherios Venizelos Airport) to Dubrovnik, Split and Zagreb Airport. The resumption date was postponed to September, meanwhile, the airline canceled all flights on mentioned routes.

Flights to Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik were supposed to run with reduced weekly frequency in comparison with the last summer season, due to the low demand airline now canceled all flights and will not fly to Croatia this year.

By this, Split and Zagreb will not have direct flights to Athens. Croatia Airlines will continue to operate regular flights on the Zagreb - Athens route with stopover in Dubrovnik Airport, so the flight between Zagreb and Athens is not a direct one. Flights will continue to operate 3 times per week, every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday with the DashQ400 aircraft (max. capacity of 76 passengers).

Volotea also suspended regular direct flights from Split and Dubrovnik Airport to Athens for the rest of this summer season.
